Procurement Support Apprentice at Support Centre, Derbyshire Full time, fixed term role

To support the team with management of the day to day procurement activities, resolving queries, building beneficial relationships with existing and new suppliers and ensuring all orders raised meet the critical paths required and are appropriately authorised before raising.

In this role you will establish strong internal customer and supplier relationships at all levels, ensuring all suppliers have the capacity to deliver and meet business needs via QA and annual reviews.
You will lead and execute tendering, negotiating, contracting activities on significant spend areas within their nominated categories.

Duties include raising purchase orders and reconciling invoices, adhering to company safety standards and promoting a safety culture among the teams throughout the company.

We are looking for someone who is wants to excel in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude to work.

Skills and experience


Ideally you will have had a flavour of procurement through completing A level Business or a BTEC Business, however this is not essential. Strong Microsoft skills will be highly beneficial.
